Someone took the term "Carpooling" a little too seriously in Briarcliff Manor, New York.

Carpooling Gone Wrong at Westchester County Athletic Club

On Friday, March 7th, 2025, around 12:20pm the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department responded to a call at the fitness center, Club Fit.

According to BMFD the caller stated that a "vehicle had crashed into the pool house." When firefighters arrived on the scene they confirmed that the car had driven through the emergency exit door of the pool house.

The car stopped "approximately 10 feet into the closest pool section and partially submerged in the water."

Ossining EMS and Ossining Police assisted BMFD at the scene and thankfully there were no injuries to the driver, who was helped out of the car by Club Fit staff, or guests in the pool area.

While the pool house area of Club Fit was deemed safe, the aquatics center will be closed until further notice.
