2024 Hudson Valley Celebrity Spotting Round Up
2024 was a great year for the Hudson Valley, especially when it came to movie and television production in the area.
Hollywood on The Hudson was thriving and of course with more productions being filmed in the area, more celebrities were in town checking out local businesses. In November 2024, actress Amanda Seyfried opened up about moving to the Hudson Valley after filming a movie in the region.
Singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes filmed a music video and recorded part of a new album in Rhinebeck. Plus, he recruited a dog from the Ulster County SPCA to star in a music video.

Is Beacon, New York Diner the New Celebrity Hot Spot?
Back in October of 2024, production on the Netflix series Four Seasons began across the region. The series stars SNL alum Tina Fey and everyone's favorite boss, The Office's Steve Carrel.
When production began in Beacon, Carrel and Fey stopped by (separately) to enjoy a meal at The Yankee Clipper Diner on Main Street. The actors took time to take photos with the staff, which was then shared on social media.
Earlier this week, The Yankee Clipper Diner shared yet another celebrity visit. This time actor Denis O'Hare (True Blood, American Horror Story) made a stop at the Main Street establishment:
That's 3 celebrity visits in the last 3 months. Is the Yankee Clipper Diner in Beacon the new celebrity hot spot? Seems like it!
It looks like O'Hare was having himself a Hudson Valley vacation as he posted on Instagram that he and his family rang in the New Year at Auto Camp Catskills in Saugerties.
