A local 10 year old is preparing a Bake Sale for an amazing cause.

Since December Tori, of Hagan Elementary School in Poughkeepsie, has been working feverishly with her teacher Ms. Shaffer to set up a bake sale. This isn't just any elementary school bake sale. Tori is raising money for Autism Awareness.

Tori's twin sister Samantha is autistic. After a teacher recommended a blog, where siblings discuss how autism has effected and changed their lives, Tori decided to take things into her own hands. With help from the whole 5th grade at Hagan Elementary, Tori has set up the Make a Miracle Bake Sale. The money will go to autism awareness and Tori has the help of the whole school behind her. The 5th grade is baking all the goods and the 3rd and 4th graders will be putting in some work as well, helping to man the bake sale.

If you'd like to help Tori out, the bake sale is this Friday, June 3rd. It will start at 11am (but Tori herself will be there at 12pm) at Hagan Elementary school. If you would like to donate, but don't have time to make it out to the bake sale please visit AutismSpeaks.Org (when donating select  "Fund raise your way" and put Make a Miracle in the comment box).

Hagan Elementary school is located on 42 Hagan Drive, in Poughkeepsie.
