Are These the Best Four School Themed Movies of All Time?
Did the Hudson Valley get it right?
With back to school happening all across the Hudson Valley we thought what better time to try and debate what we think are the four best school themed movies of all time.
Every Thursday on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show we head out to South Dakota and the home of Mount Rushmore to re-work the four president heads in stone to show off whatever our theme is for the week.
Our theme, school themed movies. Jess went with Super Bad, Grease, Mean Girls and Never Been Kissed. I went with Back to School, Over the Edge, The Karate Kid and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. After we revealed ours on the show today we were blasted with over 50 messages about movies that should've been on our lists. Yeah we definitely forgot some classics.
So we thought this week we need to have a third entry in the Mount Rushmore of School Themed Movies according to Wolf listeners. If you have a movie that you feel needs to be chiseled into stone, call or text the studio through the Wolf mobile app.
Here are some of the suggestions we have so far, Breakfast Club, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, To Sir with Love, Good Will Hunting, Taps, 21 Jump Street, Summer School, Animal House, Stand and Deliver, Bring It On, Lean on Me, Dangerous Minds, Save the Last Dance, Carrie, Pretty in Pink, Billy Madison, Clueless, School of Rock, and American Pie.
After taking a ton of calls and text messages here is the Mount Rushmore of school themed movies according to YOU.....
