We got talking today about finding buried treasure in Hudson Valley backyards and had so many folks tell us about some of the things they discovered while digging in their yards. We also learned that if you find a bone, and think it might be a dinosaur bone Jess found a way to tell if its real or not.

That got me thinking about how most of us a one time or another have come across certain things that we struggle to tell if its real or not, right? I've found a few pieces of jewelry around the Hudson Valley over the years, that after finding them, I had a hard time telling if they were real or not.

Is there a way to tell if something is real or not by doing a quick test on them? Well yes, for a few things there are quick things you can try out to see if they are real. There are also certain things to look for when it comes to identifying if they are real or not.
