Barton Orchards is excited to host its 6th Annual Sunflower Festival, a vibrant celebration that will span the next two weekends, including Labor Day. This highly anticipated event offers something for everyone, making it a must-visit destination in the Hudson Valley. Visitors are invited to take a scenic hayride up to a stunning five-acre rolling field, where approximately 100,000 sunflowers bloom in a dazzling array of sizes and colors. The field, known for being one of the most photographed spots in the region, provides the perfect backdrop for capturing memories and cutting your own sunflowers to take home.

In addition to the sunflower fields, Barton Orchards offers a variety of activities that set this festival apart from the rest. Guests can savor local flavors at the Tap Room, which features twenty local breweries on tap, as well as a selection of wine and spirits. For those looking to capture the perfect sunset photo, the festival stays open until 9:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Throughout the day, live music will be playing at both the sunflower field and Barton Orchards' new event space, "The Garage." Food lovers won't want to miss the locally famous lobster rolls, which will be featured on the menu, along with other delicious options.

Families can enjoy unlimited hayrides to and from the sunflower field, as well as a variety of local craft vendors offering unique and handmade items. The festival also includes special entertainment such as Zach Alexander Magic Shows and Two by Two Animal Haven Exhibits will be featured on select dates. Guests are encouraged to bring their own gardening shears for cutting sunflowers, as the supply available for rent is limited.
