An Alleged Student Stalker in East Fishkill, New York Has Been Arrested
A 33-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stalking female students in Dutchess County.

According to a press release from The East Fishkill Police Department, back on September 12th, they had received a complaint regarding a "a suspicious male that approached a female student across from John Jay High School." After the initial contact, the male suspect reportedly followed the female student in his car and then proceeded to approach "two other female students in an area off campus the same day."
After the complaints were received by The East Fishkill Police Department, on September 12th, the Detective Division took over and began an investigation.
On September 17th, Cesar Rojas, 33 from Yonkers New York was "placed in custody by the East Fishkill Police Patrol Division." Rojas was then charged with Stalking 4th Degree and arraigned. The press release goes on to explain:
Mr. Rojas was released on his own recognizance with an appearance ticket and served with an order of protection mandating him to stay away from the victim and the victim’s school.
Wappingers Central School District Responds to Alleged Stalker
In an email sent out to parents, Wappingers Central School District superintendent Dr. Dwight Bonk wrote:
On Thursday, September 14th we sent information to our community regarding some very concerning off-campus interactions between an individual and students near John Jay High School.
The East Fishkill Police Department has just issued the following statement related to this investigation.
I would like to commend the East Fishkill Police Department for their swift response to this concerning issue and for bringing this investigation to a conclusion in making an arrest.
