If you're like me, and you need help in the gym, I found the easiest way to get going: having a personal trainer to motivate you.

I've been a member at All Sport Health and Fitness in Fishkill for a few years now and I try to hit the gym a few times a week, not to get like super ripped, but to basically let off some steam and kind of maintain where I'm at. Over the years, I have seen results at All Sport by going to the gym and following my routine: I do about 30 minutes of cardio and then I do the Express Circuit upstairs, which is a series of 12 machines that give you a full-body workout. Now, however, I'm at the point where I need some guidance on how to make my workouts better and I want to make sure I'm doing the right exercises, but also doing them correctly.

The only problem I have is I am one of those people that gets really intimidated by the Free Weight room. I have no clue how to do a full blown workout the right way. How much weight do I use? What exercises can I do to really tone and burn a ton of calories? These are some the questions I have always wanted to ask, but was always intimidated by the large room, variety of equipment, and feeling of not knowing what I was doing.

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Camille Della Vecchia, Personal Training Director, at All Sport. After spending just a little time with her, I actually felt really silly for not asking my questions sooner. She made the exercise process simple and was so knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions. She walked me through a few different exercises with and without weights that I can now do on my own at my own pace, which is what I was really looking for.

So if you're like me and you want to make every second in the gym worth it, I definitely suggest booking a Personal Training session with any of the great trainers at All Sport Health and Fitness in Fishkill. You'll get put on a pathway to results that's specific to you.

All Sport's Personal Trainers have a variety of specialized certifications and backgrounds from working with people who've suffered injuries to people with specific performance goals. When working with Camille, I instantly felt muscles working in a way they hadn't before, and knew I would be back for another session.
