ACM Nominees Coming to the Hudson Valley
This morning the Academy of Country Music announce their Award nominees for 2018. The list of nominees was read by Reba McEntire who found herself nominated this year in the Female Vocalist of the Year category. The show will air on CBS Sunday, April 15th at 8p. So who on the list will be performing in the Hudson Valley this year?
Once again a nominee for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year will be visiting the Hudson Valley. Jason Aldean will be at Bethel Woods in July with special guests Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina who both have their own nominations. Luke for New Male Vocalist of the Year and Lauren for New Female Vocalist of the Year. If you already have tickets for that show you maybe seeing three ACM winners in one night.
Three country acts nominated in the Vocal Duo of the Year category will be performing at Hudson Valley Venues later this year. Brothers Osborne will be at Bethel Woods with Dierks Bentley in August. Dierks was nominated for Best Video for "Black" and it turns out Brothers Osborne was also nominated in that category for "It Ain't My Fault". The two other nominees are husband and wife Duo Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and Florida Georgia Line. Tim and Faith will be at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Florida Georgia Line are headlining the 6th Annual Taste of Country Music Festival.
The Vocal Group of the Year nominees who will be heading to the Hudson Valley for concerts this year are Lady Antebellum and Lanco. Both will perform at Bethel Woods. Lady A will be there in July with Darius Rucker and New Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Russell Dickerson. Lanco is a special guest at the August Dierks Bentley show at Bethel and they have also gotten a nod in the New Vocalist Duo or Group of the Year category.
Kane Brown and Devin Dawson who will both be at the Taste of Country Music Festival this summer on Hunter Mountain are nominated in the New Male Vocalist of the Year. Kane also received a nomination with his high school bestie Lauren Alaina in the Vocal Event Category for the song they did together "What Ifs". Taste of Country Music Festival headliner Sam Hunt also received 2 nominations. He is up for Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "Body Like A Back Road".
