Fans of Halloween get ready, Spirit Halloween is officially open for the 2025 season!

There are 1,500 locations nationwide ready to get you in the Halloween spirit with costumes, home decor, and outdoor decorations that will have Trick-or-Treaters running in fear.

This year, Spirit Halloween is thrilled to introduce the all new Madison Scare Park. This in-store experience "transports guests to Madison Scare Park, a haunted subway platform brought to life through an interactive design and eerie details."

In a press release Spirit Halloween writes:

At the heart of the experience is this year's show-stopping animatronics, debuting cutting-edge features like dual 180-degree rotational motors showcased in Twisted Grandma, a frightful twist on candy dispensers with Trick or Treat Pete, and advanced motion tracking as seen in the all-new Jack the Reaper animatronic.

They add "These enhancements bring each character to life in thrilling new ways that only Spirit can do."

Will Spirit Christmas Return to the Hudson Valley in 2025?

Back in 2024, after Halloween wrapped up, Poughkeepsie residents noticed Spirit was sticking around.

The Spirit Halloween at the old Bed, Bath and Beyond on South Road transformed into Spirit Christmas. Think the Halloween store turned into the North Pole with holiday décor, ugly Christmas sweaters, costumes and lawn ornaments.

Fans flocked the store on its opening day in November.

As for 2025, we've reached out to the Spirit franchise but it seems they're super focused on Halloween right now.

However, the location where Spirit Christmas was located is now a permanent home to Fly Deals of Poughkeepsie.
