Pets of the Week With the Dutchess County SPCA

Meet this week's Pets of the Week. These animals are looking for loving homes and are available for adoption at the Dutchess County SPCA. Plus, the Dutchess County SPCA has a Barn Cat program, a great solution for some of the former outdoor kitties or for independent cats who prefer to have room to explore and for alone time. All Barn Cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Nicki.

Nicki is a very happy bird who loves to jam out to music; however, he does like a little peace and quiet every once in a while. He is one beautiful boy who would love to go to a fun home and sing the day away!

Rabbits.

We have rabbits! Are you looking for a cuddly, little snuggle buddy to call your own? Well, we have three young rabbits (one female and two males) who are up for the job! These little guys will be sure to melt your heart as they hop into your arms!

Cindy.

Cindy is a sweet older gal who is a little shy to start, but before long she will be licking your face and trying to get on your lap. Though Miss Cindy would probably do best as an only pet, she has so much love, energy and sweetness to share that you wouldn't need anyone else!

Clyde.

Clyde is a very smart young boy, who loves to have a good time! His potential is endless and just needs a person to continue to help with his manners, and his self-control. He is a rock star at fetch and loves to solve puzzles. So if you have time to mold this young, energetic, and handsome guy into a "gentleman", then Clyde is just for you!

Miss Molly.

Good Golly, Miss Molly! This girl is incredibly sweet, and just loves to be the center of attention. She does use her nose a lot when she is out and about, but her favorite past time always includes being close to her people, no matter what she is doing. She has a tendency to like her stuff A LOT, so Miss Molly is looking for a home where she wouldn't need to share too much!

Butters.

Butters is an older adult female who is quite the talker! She wants to get your attention in any way that she can, including rolling herself over to look pretty for you. Butters would make a great furry family member as she has lived with other cats, dogs and kids!

Gretta.

Gretta is sugar sweet and loves to welcome people into whatever room she is in with a friendly meow and a head bump. Although this petite little girl is getting up there in age, she will follow you to the ends of the earth and would not mind sharing your love with another feline sibling!

Minks.

Minks is one of the cutest cats you will ever meet. If his looks and personality aren't enough, his little trick will be! Every so often, you'll catch him standing on his back legs and putting his front paws together - it's adorable! He is also affectionate and playful and gets along with most other cats. He would be a great new furry family member!

Nacho.

Nacho has it all, a cute face, a great personality, and he enjoys hanging out with other felines! This adorable boy can be a little shy at first, but once he comes out of his shell you'll fall in love. One of his favorite places to be is the highest perch on the cat tree or snuggled up next to one of his friends.

Pumpkin.

Pumpkin is a sweet gentleman that would love a nice quiet home to call his own. He is independent and likes to do his own thing, but he also will not pass up a chance for affection from people! You can find him curled up in a kitty condo or around your ankles waiting to be pet. One look in his blue eyes, and you'll fall in love!
