Pets of the Week With the Dutchess County SPCA

Bambi:

Bambi is full of life and ready for any adventure that comes her way! Her perfect day includes joining you for a jog on a warm sunny day, then taking a refreshing swim to cool off. If you're looking for you're next workout partner, then Bambi is just the girl for you!

Clooney:

Clooney loves people and he loves when people play fetch with him. His perfect day would include hiking through the woods and then playing fetch until the sun goes down. Once all the fun is done, he would love to snuggle up on someone's lap. If you are looking for a pal to go on fun adventures with, Clooney's your guy!

Desta:

Desta is a spunky young girl who is a ball of energy and just loves to have fun. A perfect day for her would include going for a nice long walk, then sharing half of your sandwich as both of you watch the sunset together! If you're looking for someone who will keep your life interesting and full of laughs, then Desta is the one for you!

Prince:

Prince is a super friendly guy who loves to give lots of furry hugs, especially if people give him peanut butter! His perfect day would include playing frisbee in your backyard then taking a relaxing snooze in the grass. Are you looking for your new best friend who will love you forever? Then Prince is the boy for you!

Sally:

Sally is a happy-go-lucky girl who always has a good time no matter who she's with. A perfect day for her would include meeting new people, playing fetch in the backyard, then relaxing with you on the couch while you watch TV. If you're looking for someone to be your new sidekick, then Sally is the girl for you!

Jerri:

Jerri is a goofy male cat, who from time to time sticks his tongue out! He tends to be pretty independent and loves to take naps in the sun. Jerri would love a home where he can keep an eye on the birds and squirrels outside, but still have a comfy spot on the couch where he can cuddle up next to you!

Mumble:

Mumble is a sweet and shy male kitty. Even though he doesn't often come right out of hiding when you come in the room, he does enjoy you coming to him and petting him where he is. With a little patience and lots of love, this affectionate kitty will want to be close to his new family in his new home once he's comfortable!

Slate:

Slate is a charming young guy who loves a good scratching behind his ears. He is very sweet and enjoys a nice nap curled up in a basket in the sun. While he may be a little shy at first, once he gets to know you, he'll never want to leave your side!

Toby:

Toby is one of the sweetest gentleman around. In fact, he is one of the volunteer favorites around here! He loves to spend his time nestled up in his favorite tower, but he will certainly peep his head out to say hello, especially if you have treats!

Winnie:

Winnie is a mellow, sweet girl, that enjoys being pet, but on her terms - she'll let you know when she doesn't want to be pet anymore! Her ideal home would be where she can get most of your attention, another cat may be okay, but she would prefer not to be among dogs. Winnie would also love to explore the outdoors and lounge outside on the porch with you!
