Darius Talks Country Music and Sings with Southern Style

Darius Rucker recently spoke to Live Nation TV about his climb through country music, his first trip to sing at the Grand Ole Opry and what he enjoys about being in country music. Click here to see the whole interview. While I was watching the interview I discovered a Darius song I hadn't heard before, Southern Style.

Southern Style, the title cut of Darius' fifth studio album and his fourth in the country genre is the kind of song that makes listening to country music so awesome. His Darius signature sound, married with the guitar as only he can play it along with the lyrics, all deliver the complete package. I think it makes the perfect country tune.

Darius and his band The Carolina Grey Boys are still adding dates for 2016 so be sure to catch a show and sing along to this great "southern" song. As Daruis says "Women come up to him from all over and say that's me" he also said Southern Style "Is not about where you live, it's about how you live".
