75th Hyde Park July Fourth Parade [VIDEO]

It was my honor and privilege to once again serve as co-emcee for the annual Hyde park Fourth of July parade on Saturday along with Mark Bolger from our sister station Mix 97. Mother Nature brought a bit of rain to the parade but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits.

The theme this year was 'Recognizing our Local Landmarks' and the Grand Marshall was Robert Linville, for his dedication in preserving our landmarks. The judges for this year's parade was Leah Siuta, from Spectrum Services, Carl Garofolo, Jr. host of HV Sports Talk Radio, and, new this year, Anita Hutton, tax filing specialist for H&R Block. We also honored and remembered one of the parades long time judges and good friend who passed away this year, Mark Hoops. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

My video doesn't quite do justice to all of the music, floats, and performance units of the parade, but it's hard to shoot a video and emcee at the same time! Hopefully, you'll join us for next year's parade.
