Where Will Jess Celebrate Cinco De Mayo?

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today is literally one of my favorite holidays, mostly because I love Spanish and Mexican food.

I know I've mentioned this before, but my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Hudson Valley is Los Hornitos in Wappingers Falls. Los Hornitos is a small Mexican bakery that offers lunch and dinner specials. And they are special. I try to stop by once every few months and yesterday was that day. I ordered a beef empanada, which surprisingly, I haven't had before. I was clearly missing out. The bread was perfectly crispy and the beef, onions and olives inside were mouth watering.

She's beautiful. And I'm going to go ahead and say that Los Hornitos has the best salsa in the Hudson Valley.

I know that there are other great Mexican food spots around the Valley. Out in Kingston there's Armadillo, Mexican Radio in Hudson and La Puerta Azul in Millbrook. I've been to each of these restaurants several times. Food, margaritas, tequila and churros were outstanding.
