McKenzie Carey is 11 and was born with a rare life threatening disease called mitochondrial disease. This disease robs the body of energy and as a result McKenzie is confined to a wheelchair and is limited in her verbal communication.

Her parents are hopeful and faithful when it comes to their little girl and that includes entering her in pageants where her Dad helps her dance on stage.
