I remember my first grade teacher, her name was Miss Potts and she was very kind and seemed really, really old, at least to a 6 year old. I would go on to have more great teachers who really left an impact on my life and there have been times when I wish I could have told them just how important they were to me. That's why this video really struck a chord with me.

You see, there are a few uplifting channels I subscribe to on You Tube and that I follow on Twitter, one of them is SoulPancake. Their videos are thought-provoking, up lifting, and, at times, inspirational. The video features Ms. Flexer, a first grade teacher for 41 years in Nashville before she retired at the end of this past school term. Everyone at Cole Elementary School wanted to do something very special for a teacher who had touched so many lives, so they contacted Soul Pancake and arranged a retirement party with former students, going all the way back to her first class in 1973-1974. Have a tissue handy.

Who were the teachers who really impacted your life?
