11 Events That Will Have People Spending Weekends in Rhinebeck

I don't know about you but, I am filling my 2024 calendar feverishly. It seems over the last few days a lot of events are being announced and to make sure I save the date I am penciling in everything I think I will want to do.

The Dutchess County Fairgrounds has just added at least four events to my list with their announcement this week of all the events that will be held at the fairground in Rhinebeck, New York. These events don't even include the Dutchess County Fair announced this week for August 20th through the 25th, 2024.

According to the post the Dutchess County Fair put up on social media they will have 10 events in addition to the Dutchess County Fair. So locate whatever it is you store dates in and let's go down the list.

The Camping World RV Show - April 18th through the 21st, 2024

The Camping World RV Show runs Thursday through Saturday opening every day at 10 AM. It features almost every type of camper, from fold-downs to Class A Motorized units. Admission and parking are free.

The Rhinebeck Antique Car Show & Swap Meet May 3rd through the 5th, 2024

The Rhinebeck Antique Car Show & Swap Meet is a ticketed event that runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday the gates open at Noon. Saturday and Sunday gates open at 8 AM. The Swap meet is all three days the car show is broken up over Saturday and Sunday 2 day and 3-day passes are available.

Barn Star Spring Antiques Rhinebeck May 25th through the 26th, 2024

Barn Star Spring Antiques at Rhinebeck has a list of top-notch vendors. It will be held on Memorial Day Weekend Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th, 2024.  Saturday hours are 10 AM to 5 PM. Sunday Hours are 11 AM to 4 PM. Parking is free but the event has a $15 admission good for the whole weekend. Food concessions will be open on-site.

Rhinebeck Craft Festival June 8th through the 9th, 2024

The Rhinebeck Crafts Festival has more than 200 makers. It opens both days at 10 AM with indoor and outdoor booths. Parking is free and tickets can be purchased at the gate.

ENY Summer Classic June 15th through the 16th, 2024

The Eastern New York Summer Classic Show is billed as the Jackpot of Summer Show for Hogs, Lambs, and Cattle. Shows are held on both Friday and Saturday. Pre-registration is required. Entries open May 1, 2024.

ENY Jr. Holstein July 18th through the 29th, 2024

The Eastern New York Jr. Holstein Event. The Club Founded in 1913 uses this event as an opportunity for members to gather and celebrate the Holstein Cow. More than 100 animals participate in the show each year.

The 178th Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, New York  August 20th - 25th, 2024

The 178th Dutchess County Fair will be underway this year starting August 20th - 25th, 2024. The fair opens at 10 AM during the week and at 11 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the fair can be bought online or in person at the fairgrounds. Parking is free and ride tickets and wristbands are sold separately from your fair admission ticket.

The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest September 7th and 8th, 2024

The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest is on the calendar for September 7th and 8th, 2024. The event opens both days at 11 AM. This is a ticketed event but parking is free and entrance is through the main gate only. This fest celebrates the wines, food, and fun of the Hudson Valley. Hundreds of wines are featured along with beers, ciders, and distilleries. Food trucks are on hand along with gourmet foods.

Handcrafted Octoberfest at Rhinebeck October 5th and 6th, 2024

The Handcrafted Octoberfest at Rhinebeck is themed A Family Harvest Celebration. It opens both days October 10th and 11th at 10 AM. All tickets are two-day passes. Buying online ahead of time will save you on your ticket price, however you can buy tickets at the gate. Parking is free. This festival brings together handcrafted items, artisanal fare, and agriculture. It is fun for the entire family.

Barn Star Fall Antiques at Rhinebeck October 12th & 13th, 2024

Barn Star's Fall Antiques at Rhinebeck is two big days of striking antiques. Saturday it opens at 10 AM and Sunday gates open at 11 AM. You can save money by purchasing tickets ahead of time. Parking is free. Your favorite dealers plus some new will be on hand with items ranging from fine art to garden architecture.

NYS Sheep & Wool Family Fest October 19th & 20th, 2024

The NYS Sheep & Wool Festival is one of the fairground's most popular events. On October 19th and 20th people from all over will descend on the Dutchess County Fairground to enjoy all things sheep and wool. Buy your tickets early to save money. The gate opens both days at 9 AM.
