Popular Business Name Disappears From The Hudson Valley

Has anyone else noticed that a big name in business across the Hudson Valley has suddenly disappeared?

Over the years I've been made fun of a million times for talking and writing about some of the things I've noticed while I'm driving around the Hudson Valley. We've talked about the meaning behind specific road signs, whether you need to use a blinker or not when you enter a roundabout, and a ton of other things but as I've said before you notice a lot if you pay attention when you're driving....LOL!

A perfect example of what I'm talking about happened to me the other day while I was driving south on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls, NY near Spins Bowling. As I went through the traffic light near Alto Music, I looked to my left and noticed that something was different at the self-storage place.

Guardian Self Storage Changes Name?

The sign that used to say Guardian Self Storage was covered with a new sign displaying a new name and many are wondering what happened. Guardian Self Storage is one Hudson Valley business that has/had its name in almost every part of the area with locations in Beacon, Highland, Newburgh, and Pleasant Valley to name a few. Apparently, Guardian has been sold to new owners and the new owners have changed each location's name.

Prime Storage

After noticing the change at the Wappingers Falls location I did some research to try and find out more. We've sent emails to various Prime locations to get more information on the new company and to see if the new ownership will have an effect on current customers but haven't heard back from anyone at Prime yet. We did receive an email from one of the locations who told us that my email was forwarded to a general manager within the company and we should hear back from them soon.
