Born in Clarksville, TN in 19 somethin’ it is no surprise that Paty is a country music fan. It is also no surprise that Paty ended up with a job where she talks for a living. From a young age Paty has had the gift of gab, people often ask if there is a “caboose” when she gets talking. Growing up an army brat, Paty had the chance to live all over this great United States. Kansas, California, Hawaii, Washington State, Pennsylvania, but New York and the Hudson Valley is where she calls home. Growing up off and on in Cornwall-on-Hudson Paty knew as a “grown up” she would never venture to far from the HV. However she holds a soft spot in her heart for Nantucket, MA. the island she spent summers on with her Grandpa, where she learned to shingle a house and use a lawn mower. Pop always said “you can do anything if you know how to use a hammer and work an engine powered machine”. Paty isn’t much of a cook but she loves to try. Baking is out it is to exact. Most of her cooking is experimental and fortunately for those forced to eat her cooking she is a fan of the Food Network. Paty is a dog person. The current dog in her life is Minnie Pearl, a rescue from Pets Alive in Middletown. Pearl and her brothers, sisters and mom were brought up from a shelter in Tennessee in 2009. Paty loves loves loves horses. All sizes and shapes. She even has a college degree in Equine Science an AAS from SUNY Delhi. I know you are thinking …. WHAT!? That’s not true …. But it is, however Delhi no longer offers that degree, I wonder why. Paty’s dad asked her to pick a second career so she also attended SUNY New Paltz and earned a BA in communications. Paty is no stranger to marriage, she has had a few, but the current one is the last because he is the “best”. So after entering the radio world on December 4, 1993, Paty is excited to start a new day in her radio log as the midday host of 94.3 / 97.3 The Wolf.
