You’re Running Out Of Time To See The Foliage In The Hudson Valley

The Hudson Valley is already at peak foliage, have you taken a look at it yet?

I Love NY put out their weekly foliage report and most of the Hudson Valley, and New York State, are past peak foliage. The more northern region of the Hudson Valley and the majority of the Catskills are past their peak foliage for the 2018 season. Peak foliage is the best time for the foliage's appearance.

Dutchess County will be at its peak this weekend, November 2 through November 4. According to I Love NY, you will see bright red, orange and yellow leaves along and some remaining green leaves. Columbia County is past its peak or nearing to be past peak foliage. Most leaves have already changed color at this point.

Orange County will finally be reaching peak this weekend according to I Love NY. At about 75% of the leaves having changed color, you'll see bright shades of gold, yellow, orange and red, and with some green. Rockland County is expected to be at the same amount of foliage change as Orange County.

Bear Mountain State Park is still only at 65% color change. You should see more red, gold, and some bare trees. White Plains is barely at color change, with only 20% changing.
