You Won’t Believe Who the Top Earner on YouTube Is

With all of the fame that YouTube brings someone, or that someone brings to YouTube, there is also money to be made in the form of YouTube ads. The more subscribers and number of views you get is a big factor when it comes to ads.

With all of that being said, you'd think that the top earner would be a celebrity or a big company, but apparently that's wrong. According to Yahoo, while Taylor Swift is one of the top earners as is WWE, the top earner is a woman who never shows her face, only her hands while she opens boxes of toys. You read that correctly: she opens toys on YouTube and reportedly earned $4.9 million in 2014. Here's an example.

DisneyCollectorBR has a total of 3,485,671 subscribers and 4,750,324,337 views. The video above has been watched 178,240,200 times. No one is sure of her true identity, the New York Times thinks she's a 21 year old in Westchester and BuzzFeed thinks she's an older woman from Florida.

No matter who she is, good for her for finding a unique way to make money. We can all learn from her!
