Festival promoter Michael Lang is reportedly in the early planning stages for a 50th Anniversary Woodstock concert set for some time in 2019. According to Rolling Stone, a number of locations are being scouted as possible concert locations for the show. The original 1969 concert ran from August 15th to Aug 18th in Bethel, NY with over 30 artists performing in front of over 400,000 people which changed American music and culture forever. Two Woodstock anniversary concerts have since followed...1994's 2 More Days of Peace and Music, which took place at Winston Farm in Saugerties, to mark the 25th Anniversary. There was also Woodstock 1999, in Rome, which unfortunately turned to chaos, with widespread riots and arson breaking out.
