Wolf Pet of the Week With the Ulster County SPCA
Here are this week’s Pets of the Week with the help of the Ulster County SPCA. While only 1 animal is highlighted here, they have many more at the shelter who are looking for homes. If you are interested in adopting Diamond, please call 845-331-5377.
In an effort to be able to house more stray, abandoned, and surrendered dogs, the Ulster County SPCA has kicked off a building expansion aimed at adding 25 kennels. With over 100 cats and more than 50 dogs already in the shelter, they have met their kennel capacity. You can help by clicking here to donate.
Diamond is a very sweet 2-year-old Pit mix who has stolen everyone's heart at the shelter! Diamond has separation anxiety and needs a lot of love and attention. Many dogs are motivated by food but not her! She wants rubs and cuddles and someone to love her like she deserves. Even though she is young, she has chronic pain and will possibly need to be on pain medication all her life. Her adoption fee of $175 has been sponsored which is great! She needs a home with no cats or small animals. If you are are looking for a very affectionate dog to cuddle with and have the time to dedicate to her, she is the dog for you. Diamond will love you unconditionally!
