FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We look forward to seeing you at Hudson Valley Wing Wars on Saturday, January 30th from 5PM till 9PM. Come hungry and ready for a good time! Here are a few tips to help you make the most out of your time:
Q: Is this a 21 and over event?
A: No, children 10 and under will be allowed in for free and can purchase wing vouchers if they would like to eat any of the wings. However, keep in mind that it might be quite loud and beer will be served.
Q: Will you have more Beer this year?
A: YES, we will have plenty of beer and plenty of serving stations to keep lines at a minimum. We will also have plenty of beer choices for you to choose from!
Q: It’s a Wing Fest and it was so hard to get wings! Will this happen again??
A: Last year we had fryer issues due to the Snow which slowed down our process. We have addressed this issue and there will be lots more wings available, much faster!
Q: Can I only purchase advance tickets online?
A: Short answer: “Yes”. We’ve been able to make special accommodations for a few folks who have told us that they’ve love to attend, but don’t use a computer at all. However, to help manage logistics on the day of the event, we’d like to have everyone registered through our online system. All online payments are handled securely through Ticket Leap and you will receive an email with confirmation of your registration once it is complete.
Q: Can I purchase tickets at the door?
A: Yes. However space will be limited. We will be purchasing food in advance and will only account for a limited number of day-of ticket purchases. In addition, all ticket sales on the day of the event will be $28 per person. Advance ticket sales are $23 per person.
Q: How do I get the wings?
A: Upon entry, you will receive 15 wing vouchers which are good for 1 wing from any of our participating restaurants. Additional vouchers will be available for purchase! We encourage you to try all the wings, so we recommend that you try as many restaurants as possible. However, It’s YOUR choice! If you’re still hungry, you may purchase additional vouchers for only $2 each..
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: Though we love pets, we will have to turn you away from the event if you bring your furry friend.
Q: How does the people’s choice vote work?
A: Cast your vote for Hudson Valley's Best Wing by dropping the Entry Slip you are given upon admission at the radio station table at the front of the area near the stage. You will need to submit your vote by 8:30PM to make your vote count!
