Do you remember any books from your school days?

We got talking this morning on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show about how I need to read more, LOL, actually we talked about how well we could remember any of the books we needed to read back when we were in middle school or high school.

Jess told us that she remembered a book called The Lottery by Shirley Jackson. It was about a small town that once a year gathered in the town square and stoned someone to death. WOW, sounds terrifying. As soon as Jess started to explain her book, I thought of the movie The Hunger Games.

For me, I remember reading the book The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. It was about a man named Santiago and his fishing troubles trying to catch a marlin. Not to ruin it but he finally does with a harpoon or something like that.
