The Virginia Tech Hokies are preparing for a stint in the 2016 March Madness Basketball tournament. While they are focusing on practice and hitting their next three pointer a video has surfaced from months ago when head coach Buzz Williams taught his players a lesson in Patriotism.

The video shows a group of veterans entering the Cassell Coliseum standing in front of the young players of Virginia Tech. Coach Williams then explains to the young men that they "haven't earned those chairs" while pointing to the bench. Williams continues saying that when the National Anthem is being played, "we're going to stand like grown men and honor men like this who gave up their lives." The players are not to be swaying or playing with their jerseys, they will stand tall with their hands over their hearts. The video is powerful, take a look:

Coach Williams took to Twitter last night to thank our veterans:

Thank you to all of our military and veterans who fight and have fought for our freedom.
