The explosion took place on Monday November 20th.

According to ABC, new video now shows the horrible explosion inside the cosmetics plants at Verla International located at 463 Temple Hill Road.

The Orange County Fire Investigation Unit told ABC that they have determined that the cause of the explosion was static electricity causing a flammable liquid to ignite and that the cause of the fire has been ruled an accident.

They also said that the explosion took place during the manufacturing process when a worker was wiping excess product in the batch room. Here is what was captured on video...

The plant worker shown in the video did suffer minor injuries and was able to get out of the building before the fire spread. Tragically 57 year old William Huntington of Newburgh did perish inside the factory.

Officials now say that more than 100 people were treated for various injuries at nearby hospitals after the fire.
