If you know of a child between the ages of 8 and 12, who love animals and would be interested in becoming a veterinarian, Cornell Cooperative Extension in Ulster County has a special program that's perfect for them.

They will offer a 4-H Introduction to Veterinary Science Program on Saturday, April 25 from 9:30-2 at SUNY Ulster. According to the Saugerties Post Star, this program is sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s 4-H Youth Development Program and the SUNY Ulster Vet Tech Program, led by Dr. Beth Alden.

It's a great opportunity to learn about animal science careers and learn from those currently in various fields working with animals. Cost is $15 for enrolled 4-H members and $20 for non-members. To register call 845-340-3990 ext. 340.
