Teachers get Ready for a New School Year In a Very Unique Way

The beginning of the school year brings different emotions for different groups of people. For students, it may be met with dread and concern. Parents, on the other hand, may be trying to conceal their excitement as they go back-to-school shopping with their kids, or maybe not.

What about the teachers? How do they feel? During a recent back-to-school meeting at the West Des Moines School District, superintendent Lisa Remy was speaking when something unexpected happened.
