Moving 6th grade from elementary to junior high school facilities is one of the main components of a proposition residents will find on the May 20th ballot in Dutchess County.
Following an audit, the Wappingers Central School District Superintendent shared a message that indicated he was dismayed and disturbed at one of the findings.
One local elementary school went through an emergency evacuation, while the nearby junior high initiated a shelter in place as a result of a bomb threat.
