I grew up in New Windsor, so whenever I see that it makes a national list of things to see, I can’t help but to be proud of my little town.

Simple dishes made with simple, but high quality ingredients. I have a problem with restaurants that over-spice or over-herb their dishes. I prefer to taste the food.

Washington's Headquarters State Historic Site in Newburgh will once again be celebrating George Washington's Birthday this weekend, Feb. 17 - 19.

We are lucky to live in an area that was around when this great country was founded. Take time out this fourth of July to visit some wonderful historic sites that played a part in American History.
