New Paltz Fire Update: Day 3 Fire is Still Active Despite Rains
Local Fire Fighters and other agencies have returned to the site of the Cragswood fire in New Paltz this morning to continue efforts to contain and extinguish this 3 day old fire.

A woods fire that is believed to have started yesterday afternoon on the Mohonk Preserve ridge line is still burning with crews on site to managing it's spread.
