The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department has announced the passing of a valued member of the department after 12 years of service.

K9 Officers from the New York State Police Went to Texas after the floods to help with the recovery.

K9 Danny will join P.O. Nappi of the City of Peekskill Police Department, serving as his new partner, with his name honoring fallen Sgt. Daniel DiDato.

K-9 Farrell was named after Sergeant Shawn M. Farrell II, from Accord, who died in April of 2014 while serving in Afghanistan.
