A dog that was stolen in the Hudson Valley earlier this month has been returned to its owner.

Last week, we reported on a story of a dog being stolen from a Hudson Valley man on Valentine's Day. According to the story, Steve Carino stopped into a local cigar shop in the lower Hudson Valley and left his dog, a Yorkie named Oliver, in the car. Carino did not intend to press charges, rather offered a $2,500 reward and to cover all costs for the person who stole the dog to adopt one of their own.

Thankfully, on Thursday, Feb. 21, the dog was reported returned to Carino by Lost Pets of Westchester County NY, a group on Facebook. You can see the video below of the two reuniting.

Details regarding how the dog came back into Carino's possession have not been released yet.
