Some Country Songs That Honor Dad

Great country songs have been written about dads. Everyone from Ricky Van Shelton to Dolly Parton to Brad Paisley have sang songs that are a tribute to dad. Taste of Country posted a great list last year that included many of the country favorite below.

Great American Country also chimed in with their top 20. A lot of the songs made both lists. Look and see if the song that makes you think of your dad made the list. If I had to pick just one I would probably go with Rodney Adkins "Watching You".

I can think of lots of times my dad and I were out and about and well, let's just say I might not have been wearing my orange drink, but I definitely heard a word or two that I wasn't suppose to say.
