This weekend Sloop Brewing will open the doors to the Factory, their new kitchen, tasting room, and brewery.

On Saturday, September 15, Sloop Brewing @ the Factory will throw open their doors. It's located at 755 East Dr. in the East Fishkill iPark campus, formerly an IBM plant.

Sloop has run their brewery and tasting room out of Columbia County for the last three years, and are excited to return their main operations to Dutchess County. Their Elizaville facility will remain open.

The new facility is 25,000 square feet.

Adam Watson, Co-Founder and President said:

We’re really excited to get this place open. The location puts us close to the city and is easily accessible to all of the Hudson Valley, just a minute off exit fifteen on I-84. And bringing this IBM plant back to life is a great project to be a part of.

At almost ten times the size of their Elizaville facility, the new complex will allow Sloop to greatly increase the amount of beer they can brew.

Adam Slamon, Executive Chef said:

A take on street food from around the world complementing our beer at the brewery, pizza that feels right at home in New York, and burgers that we’ve put together just for Sloop. We’re sourcing many of our ingredients locally, and trying to stay as environmentally conscious as possible with our packaging and presentation

At 12 pm, in advance of the grand opening, Sloop will have a can release of IPArk -- a small batch, hazy IPA brewed just for the occasion. The kitchen will open at 3pm for the grand opening.
