As you are gathering everything up for this long holiday weekend, including everything for your kids, here's a recall to be aware of.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, almost 3.1 million Tommee Tippee Sippee spill-proof cups have been recalled by Mayborn USA due to risk of mold exposure.

The cups involved include the First Sips Transition cup,Trainer Sippee cup, Sippee cup (including Cute Quips), Sportee bottle and Insulated Swiggle/Sippee tumblers. They were sold in numerous retailers from December 2014 through May 2016.

The issue is that mold can develop on the removable, one-piece, white valve inside these spill-proof cups when it remains wet or moist and is infrequently cleaned. This can lead to some gastrointestinal issues or infections for any child with a compromised immune system.

As of this writing, Mayborn USA has received 3,066 reports of mold in the cups, including 68 reports of children experiencing diarrhea, vomiting or other symptoms.

If you, or anyone you know, have any of these cups, please stop using them immediately and contact Mayborn to get a free replacement cup, toll-free at 877-248-6922 anytime during the week and from 8. to 3 ET on Saturday. You can also contact the company on-line at www.tommeetippee.us and click on the recall button at the bottom of homepage.
