It's been 15 years since the New York Mets have been to the World Series and they haven't won a championship since 1986.

That all changes tonight as game 1 of the World Series gets underway in Kansas City and the Mets get ready to battle the Royals.

As an almost life long Met fan, I have to say I am more than excited and seriously on pins and needles waiting for this series to start.

After a sweep in Chicago against the Cubs (even I never saw that coming) the New York Mets could possible claim their 3rd championship in franchise history.

The series will be in Kansas City tonight 8pm on FOX. And the rest of the series will go as follows:

Game 2 - Tomorrow in KC 8pm.

Game 3 - Fri, Oct 30 at Citi Field in New York at 8pm.

Game 4 - Sat, Oct 31 at Citi Field in New York at 8pm.

Game 5 - Sun, Nov 1 at Citi Field in New York at 8pm.

Game 6 - Tue, Nov 3 in Kansas City at 8pm.

Game 7 - Wed, Nov 4 in Kansas City at 8pm.
