Runaway June recently debuted a new web series called Off the Road With Runaway June, and in the second episode, they sit down for some Halloween fun with Kellie Pickler.

In the video above — which is premiering exclusively with Taste of Country — the trio of Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne invite Pickler over for a fun girl's night of wine, food and conversation about Mulholland's cooking skills, which she proposes to show off on an episode of Pickler's daytime talk show, Pickler & Ben.

Pickler admits her own cooking skills are sub-par.

"I can boil a mean pot of water," she jokes.

Mulholland also shares a spooky story of a ghostly encounter that took place when she was little before the topic turns to Runaway June's desire to do a USO tour, an area in which Pickler is very experienced.

"It's life-changing, and I think if ever given an opportunity to do it, then you should definitely do it," she tells the trio. "You feel so guilty about everything that you've taken for granted."

Runaway June launched the new series with an episode featuring Carly Pearce, but it's only one small part of what the band have going. The trio — which Taste of Country featured as one of our inaugural class of RISERS in 2017 — released their long-awaited self-titled debut EP in September, and their current single, "Buy My Own Drinks," is at country radio now.

The group will make their national morning television debut on Thursday (Nov. 1) when they perform on the Today Show, and they will hit the road in May of 2019 alongside Maddie & Tae as a support act on Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty Tour 360.
