The Village TeaRoom Restaurant & Bake Shop in New Paltz has been pleasing customers since they opened their doors in September of 2004. A recent newsletter to patrons announced they'd be closing their doors, but there's still time to stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner because the last day is Sunday, April 14.

Owner Agnes Devereux has led an exemplary culinary career and will continue on in business as Agnes Devereux Catering. Born in Ireland, she made her way to upstate New York via Paris.

Our story is not over. Just this chapter. We are on to new adventures! Catering will continue and a new home. Please follow my personal Instagram @agnesdevereux and tag along on the journey of the renovation of an 18th Century quintessential Hudson Valley House. I'm excited to delve back in to my previous work as an Interior Designer as we start the work on our new home.

The Village TeaRoom sources many of their ingredients from local farms like Dressel Farms, Four Winds Farm, Sprout Creek Farm and others.

DID YOU KNOW: The Village TeaRoom Restaurant and Bakery was a 200-year-old tailor shop before it was converted in 2004.
