Police: Woman Attacked and Robbed, Suffers Fractured Arm

A woman walking late at night was attacked and robbed leaving her with a fractured arm. 

On Monday around 6:00 am, a Town of Wallkill police officer responded to Orange County Regional Medical  Center for a report of an "assault", according to a press release.

Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim, a 32-year old Town of Wallkill resident who reported that at approximately 1:00 am, while walking on Bloomingburg Road, close to M & M  Road, several suspects approached her from behind and assaulted her.

The suspects proceeded to remove an undetermined amount of currency from the victim. the victim suffered various injuries, including a fractured arm.

The investigation into this incident is currently ongoing.
