A Beacon man was arrested on Violet Avenue in Hyde Park on Monday night after police say he was seen driving erratically.

Upon pulling the man over, New York State Police report his blood alcohol content was measured at .27. This is more than three times the legal blood alcohol content limit in the state of New York.

Police charged the man, Ronald J. Lombardi Jr., 44 years old, of Beacon, New York, with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor. The charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree is due to the police discovery that his driving privileges had been previously revoked due to a pending DWI charge.

Lombardi is due to appear in the Town of Hyde Park Court on November 26, 2015. The official report from New York State Police Troop K is available here.
