A plane crashed into a light post early Wednesday morning in the Hudson Valley.

On Wednesday around 8 a.m., emergency personal responded to reports of an aircraft emergency at Hudson Valley Regional Airport, formerly known as the Dutchess County Airport.

First responders rushed to Runway 6 at the airport on State Route 376 in the Town of Wappinger after reports said a plane struck a light post. At the time, it was unclear of any injuries.

Shortly after, first responders breathed a sigh of relief because the plane crash resulted in no injuries and no damage to the plane, according to Dutchess County Fire/Rescue Services. More information isn't known at this time. We will update this story if more information is released.
