Nobody’s Ever Given Their Daughter Away at a Wedding Like This Dad Did

How many weddings have you been to? I tried to come up with a number, but I can't, so let's just say I've been to a lot. While each wedding has had a different feel based on the bride and groom, the wedding venue, or even the family and friends in attendance, there are a few things that remain the same.

We all stand when the bride comes down the aisle, we applaud the first kiss, and we shed a little tear when a father gives his daughter away, at least I do, but this particular father and daughter moment at her wedding is really something to see. I laughed and I cried and thought it was one of the best things I've seen in a long time.

It's great to see a parent not only love their child but also talk so highly of their accomplishments at one of the milestones in their life. Plus, if you can get folks to laugh when you are kind of warning the groom to not mess up, that's a bonus. You can bet at the next wedding I go to this will cross my mind when it's time for the parents to give their daughter away.
