A sad update has been shared about cherished member of the New Windsor Police Department.
There really is a lot of truth behind the saying "man's best friend". A relationship between a Police Officer and their K-9 is very special and it really is a bond that can never be broken. I have seen this first-hand with my brother who is a K-9 Officer and his dog is not only his partner, but has also become a cherished family member to him. My brother's K-9 goes with him pretty much everyone and it's really special to see the bond they have developed. It's devastating when a K-9 passes away and one local Police Department is mourning the huge loss.
