Movie Filming in Kingston Will Cause Traffic Issues
If you plan on spending anytime in Uptown Kingston today, parking will be limited.
According to the Daily Freeman, a bunch of parking restrictions will be in place for most of Thursday May 10th due to a movie being filmed.
Kingston Mayor Steve Noble's office told the Freeman that there will be no parking at meters in the following locations:
338 and 339 Wall St.
398 North Front St.
259, 251, 260, 287 and 298 Fair St.
The parking restrictions will be in place from 6 a.m. through 8 p.m. on Thursday.
If you travel in the Uptown Kingston area on Thursday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. you can also expect traffic control due to the movie filming.
The director of the Hudson Valley Film Commission, Laurent Rejto told the Freeman that the movie being filmed is a Christmas related movie but wouldn't say who is starring in the film. He also mentioned that another holiday themed film is being shot across the Hudson River, in Rhinebeck.
