Meet Cupcake, Happy, Party, Pinata and Hondo

Alaska has always been on my vacation bucket list and Denali National Park has always been on my National Park bucket list, but these little cuties closed the deal. Sign me up! I'm just sorry by the time I actually make my trip they will all be grown up. Hopefully there is a new litter every year. This year the National Park system is celebrating 100 years and Denali National Park is one of the oldest, turning 100 next year. You may recall it was last year that they returned the park to it's original name, it was formally known as Mount McKinley.

CBS Sunday Morning aired this story this past Sunday. I had no idea this park had sled dogs much less how important these dogs are to this park. They cover thousands of miles, they show up for work everyday and they are always ready to go even if their human rangers are hoping for the day off.

It makes you wish you live closer, right? Thanks god for the puppy cam.
