A three-year investigation into graffiti, spanning three counties across the Hudson Valley has come to an end. Police said a three-year investigation into graffiti has led to the arrest of a man suspected in numerous cases of graffiti being drawn in three counties.

Ellenville Police arrested 21 year-old Ryan Wells on Wednesday last week and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and several dozen counts of making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments, misdemeanors.

According to the Times Herald Record, police found more than 500 pics of graffiti on Wells' social media accounts. Police searched the suspect's car where they found cans of spray paint and markers used to make graffiti.

Police said Wells allegedly hit areas in Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties over the past three years, causing thousand of dollars worth of damage.
