Lindsay Ell recently released The Continuum Project, where she put her unique interpretation on John Mayer's 2006 album Continuum. What started as a homework assignment from Sugarland's Kristian Bush ahead of working on her debut album, The Project, is now available to the masses.

Country fans are one step closer to getting into the studio with Ell thanks to the music video for Mayer's song "I Don’t Trust Myself (With Loving You)." In the five-minute track, Ell's musical expertise is showcased as she is seen playing every instrument on the song—keyboards, electric guitar, bass guitar and drums.

Directed by Brian Vaughan, "I Don’t Trust Myself (With Loving You)" appears to be shot in an abandoned warehouse. The cameras capture Ell playing the instruments in different outfits, as all the while, she showcases her talent on each instrument. "I played every instrument on #thecontinuumproject, so we decided to make the I Don’t Trust Myself video," Ell writes on Instagram.

“Recording Continuum was the thing that started it all," Ells explains in a press release. "Kristian taught me some of the most valuable lessons as my producer from this ‘homework’ assignment. He gave me three rules: I needed to play all the instruments myself, I needed to record it alone in my studio, and I had two weeks. Through it all, I remembered all the things I first loved about making music. I can’t wait for my fans to hear the music that helped shaped ‘Criminal’ and The Project!”

When Ell isn't in the studio recording new music, she's spending much of her year on the road. She recently wrapped an opening slot as part of Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior World Tour. The multi-instrumentalist will join Sugarland’s Still the Same Tour in July ahead of supporting Keith Urban on his Graffiti U World Tour this fall.
